Thanks for the prayers I can use all I can get.
Its been a rough 3 years. I have very little screen time right now, I do try to keep up on the Train, but gave up on the Q thread and main forum for the most part. The eye strain and headaches are too much even with the screen pushed to 300+ for viewing.
Between my sister almost dying because her appendix ruptured and her 3 visits to the ER found nothing wrong before it did rupture. It seems she was a strange one her appendix was on the wrong side, oops. My moms stage 4 bladder cancer which may not have been pushed back with the chemo and radiation after all. To my low life cheating husband of 30+ years who has been living with his 30 something mistress for 2 years this coming January. She had a son (16 yrs old) in jail for grand theft when he moved in with her, she had him at 14 or 15 and she herself served 2 years in jail for selling drugs at 26 years old. Hes made some great choices.
I am about done. My faith and prayers are all that has kept me going these last few years. I really need a break here for once. I am hoping the new year will finally bring a change for the better as husbands bad choices are now affecting my youngest son. He allows his underage drinking and is actually supplying him the liquor. The mess my son got himself into this pat year with public intoxication, underage drinking, etc. thank God no driving involved though his DL got suspended for having a fake ID in his possession. He just got it back 9-22-19.This mess has cost me thousands upon thousands in legal fee’s and fines to keep him out of jail and he got suspended from college this semester because of it. He’s going locally this semester then back to WY in January. My girls and in laws will have nothing to do with this tramp, but my 19 yr old son is not the brightest sometimes. He wants his fathers approval unfortunately still.
Okay enough of my feeling sorry for myself, life could always be worst then what it is Thanks for listening to my rant. It felt good to express it for once.
We are here to listen and share your burden. Standing on the promises of Christ place us shoulder to shoulder with you. Many here have been through similar. I can assure you there IS life after divorce. Stand strong.
You’ve had more than your share of troubles. Feel free to rant all you want, I know it makes one feel better. God bless.
Prayers up for you and your family, VIPPER.
Prayers and hugs, dear Vipper.
Prayers sent for you Viper, you do have your hands full. This is a good place to vent, a lot of caring and moral support.
I am sending this song to you to be administered as a medicinal salve. There is something inherently healing in the words, especially when one considers the circumstances surrounding it's origin. Please take as needed, and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, as that is one of our unique characteristics- here at the Trump Train, organically together and genuine as we can be.
Best regards and your friend always, freepersup.

The "original" song's history-

This hymn was written after traumatic events in Spafford's life. The first was the death of his son at the age of two and the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, which ruined him financially (he had been a successful lawyer and had invested significantly in property in the area of Chicago that was extensively damaged by the great fire). His business interests were further hit by the economic downturn of 1873, at which time he had planned to travel to Europe with his family on the SS Ville du Havre. In a late change of plan, he sent the family ahead while he was delayed on business concerning zoning problems following the Great Chicago Fire. While crossing the Atlantic Ocean, the ship sank rapidly after a collision with a sea vessel, the Loch Earn, and all four of Spafford's daughters died. His wife Anna survived and sent him the now famous telegram, "Saved alone
". Shortly afterwards, as Spafford traveled to meet his grieving wife, he was inspired to write these words as his ship passed near where his daughters had died.[2] Bliss called his tune Ville du Havre, from the name of the stricken vessel.[3]
Prayers said for you,Vipper, for strength in your trials.
1 Corinthians 10:13 comes to mind and is helpful when the way is dark:
“There hath no temptation taken hold of you but such as is common to man. But God is faithful; He will not suffer you to be tempted beyond that which ye are able to bear, but with the temptation will also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
I have found that when there is no way, God makes a way, if we ask Him to do so.
You are a strong woman, a very strong woman, and you have had to bear a heavy burden most could not bear.
Our Lord will guide you, so please keep the faith, and ask Him for the power to move forward day by day.
Even though others might do so, He will not leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5-6).
In Joshua 1:9, the Lord says this:
“9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
This has been a comfort to me many times in my life.
God bless you mightily this day and every day.
