My cold & fever go-to is NyQuil or a hot toddy of lemon & honey water, with a Halls Eucalyptus lozenge. ............................. Tea, lemon, honey and schnaps works great. Even as a toddler my parents gave it to me. I still use the same ingredients today, but I did add more schnaps to it. I don’t have a cold, I have a red tide allergy problem, and its like a cold with no fever. usually 2 24 tablets ends it, but I’m on 3. Nose drip is still watery. maybe 2 more days of it? If not I’ll tell my Doc I have a bad cold and he’ll tell me its the allergy again. Chicken Soup, the Brooklyn remedy, used it for years. If I have a fever, its chicken soup time. Tomorrow is the snowbird flu season, on its way south.
