They grew up in Brooklyn's "Little Odessa" neighborhood. A photograph of the twins with their maternal grandmother briefly appears in the Ken Burns documentary The Statue of Liberty. Vindman speaks fluent Russian and Ukrainian.
WHO THE HELL IS THIS GUY?
A wounded warrior hero still walking around bearing shrapnel in his body... one of the most honorable people in D.C. (like Patrick Fitzgerald and Robert Mueller) ... he cannot be criticized or maligned --- UNLIKE General Michael Flynn who can be railroaded by the FBI and robbed of his home and his reputation.
It all depends on your point of view I guess.
