One caveat - a stay is only granted if it is deemed likely the appellant will prevail upon appeal. SOP but the caveat applies ;)

So.... legal stuff for dummies...which side is the appelant? is this “good” or “bad”, from your understanding?
The DoJ (Barr) is appealing and the stay was granted - they have until 11/1 to file their briefs and then a week or so after the House counsel will reply.
