Any favorite books you’d suggest on that topic?

Rev. Samuel Niles “History of the French and Indian Wars”

Give me a minute and I’ll find a link.

https://books.google.com/books?id=my0TAAAAYAAJ&pg=RA1-PA154&dq=%22rev.+samuel+niles%22+indian+wars&hl=en&newbks=1&newbks_redir=0&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiVnLfqh8jlAhXlYd8KHRMiDR0Q6AEwAHoECAQQAg

I recommend downloading it. I can’t bear the slowness of trying to read it online. He was a friend of President John Adams who asked Samuel’s son if the book had been ever published. It wasn’t, and he clearly needed a REALLY big editing job on it for it to have done well. His grandmother was the doctor for Block Island so he’s big on describing wounds in detail. Absolutely vicious on both sides. My 8th great granduncle. I was U of Chicago, so we’re taught to go for original sources rather than texts.
