Yes Tora, Tora, Tora, is about Pearl Harbor but “Midway” use a lot of the film footage from it.
I saw ToraX3 maybe 30 years ago and thought it a little boring. I ordered it on DVD a month ago and have now watched it 4 times. Each time it gets better.
The reason might be that I am bad about not paying attention and there was a lot of details. Every time I see it again, I catch things I missed before.
