facelift - shouldn’t have centered the word
Black eyes are a result of facelifts.
My family was middle class. I have a cousin in the ultra rich category and got invited to a wedding for her daughter. Sit down on the side yard for 750. The groom was the godchild of the Dutchess Fergie. First time in my life I had EVER understood the term “beautiful people.” It suddenly became clear why plastic surgeons are rich. Oh, and none of the women could concentrate on conversation. One eye was always checking where their husband was and who he was talking to. Incredibly insecure environment.
So I would think the frequency of black eyes is consistent with the number of facelifts that have to be happening in that world.
