Nasa gets a lot done for a mere 20 billion a year. Contrast that with the military that has a budget of 800 billion. My guess is the military wastes more money than Nasas annual budget. Then of course we have the 21 trillion dollar debt. 20 billion wouldn’t even make an interest payment.

A penny saved is a penny earned. We have to start somewhere and chip away at it little by little until we have control again including the military, .gov budgets, and frivolous grant awards for every impractical project under the sun.

But what are we going to do? Go figure out how to put them back together? At some point we need to get a handle on what we “really need to do” instead of just “what we want to do” or our great great grandchildren are screwed.

We are BROKE, and I’m convinced we don’t care one bit about the future of our own kids because of things like this.
