The author of an anonymous column in the New York Times in 2018, who was identified as a senior Trump administration official acting as part of the “resistance” inside the government, has written a tell-all book to be published next month.

Re gloom and doomers :
I don’t see it quite that starkly. Some are gloomy because something really traumatic happened to them. They know disaster sometimes happens to good people for no reason. Or they’ve had their hearts terribly broken by someone they trusted.
It can be incredibly difficult to come back from Some forms of disaster or heartbreak. Even if one desperately wants to.

I’ve had enough drama, tragedy and mishaps of many kinds to last several lifetimes. I could write a long book.
So if that is the case, they need to put up their grownup underwear and climb of the past.
That may sound heartless, but I have experienced a lot of vicious stuff in my life, including as a teenager, and somehow or other I have managed to go on with my life.

I think they’re managing to get on with their lives as well.
So I go out of town for a couple of days and had WAY more than my share of CNN. CNN did let me know that Bill Taylor has doomed the presidency once and for all. It may take a while to go through 800 or so posts but I’m up for the task.
These days, I’d say your guess is as good as any!
