When G. Gordon Liddy had a radio show, I listened to him daily. The Plumbers were looking for dirt on the DNC, and at the direction of John Erlichman, Liddy headed up the break in. Their goal was to find specifically details about a call girl ring the DNC was running out of a hotel across the street from The Watergate.

Somewhere I ran across the notion that the break-in was to find the pedophile compromise book, which was alive, even back then. I think that info may have been in the series on Sarah Westall’s youtube channel, interview’s with Detective “Jimmy Boots” Rothstein. Det.
