I’m back from my excursion. Walmart is actually open at 0600 for seniors, so I was able to get there at about 0630.
A lot of the workers were holding either paper towels or TP as the patrons came through the door and I declined both. I was able to get white and whole wheat flour, and I got a couple of other things that may not be there when I do my big shopping on payday. How I’ll manage with all those seniors in competition, I don’t know. But there are things they buy that I don’t so having a specialized body has its perks!
It wore me out and by the time I got home, my back was killing me. So here I am!
More rain for Thursday, so I’m thinking because it rained yesterday The Epically Failed Company that produces minuscule results in landscaping will show up today with all the noise and dust it can produce and I’ll have to shut my door again.
I’m making some vegetable soup for lunch: onion, garlic, carrot, and butternut squash. The squash had been sitting on the counter a long time, but was still in good shape.
I got an email from the hair salon saying that, as of Wednesday night, they will be closing for 30 days. I made an appointment with a random stylist for 2:30 this afternoon.
It rained all day yesterday-although for a short time in the morning it snowed.
