I don’t like to put cottage cheese in stuff. Too much like brains!
I’m glad you had a better time last night than you expected. And how considerate of your hosts to accept your explanation of your health limitations. I keep saying that it should be a simple “Love your neighbor” matter to recognize that we all have issues, especially as we get older, and trading dinner for lunch should be a no-brainer.
But what do I know: I never go anywhere but Envirothon, choir, and committee meetings!
If this were anyone but my son’s in-laws, I would politely decline every offer, bar none. But since the event on the 11th of last month, they have “adopted” me.
My other “outings” are church, medical and errands. Period. It’s the only way I can keep the symptoms at bay. By strictly staying on a schedule, I’m able to enjoy the time I spend out of the house and not worry about whether or not I’ll get sick before I can make it back home.
