Free electricity for a year for volunteers.

Yeah, I know, people can't do for themselves anymore. Gotsta have duh goobermint do it.

Without any other assistance? Probably 5-7 years and that’s simply getting the major parts.

I really think if they were able to pull in workers from other electric utilities as well as some government funding for private companies...2-3 years. Start with the areas nearest the larger cities and towns, cut a firewall/breach and then on to the next area.

Rural fire departments would most likely be able to assist as well and I’m betting those fire departments would not mind helping because it will save lives and properties over the long haul.

The trouble will be the Greenie-Weenies. As far as I’m concerned those folks should be thrown in jail if they interfere under ‘causing harm to the general public, or some such clause.

It can be done. Really. Just look at the Build The Wall effort. Once folks who are determined to get it done and competent folks who understand the problem get together, almost anything can be resolved.
