I have a few questions for anyone who wants to answer. I was explaining the difference between our countries when it comes to electing our “leaders”, and I’m not quite sure I have the American system correct.

You guys have a federal election every four years, and vote directly for your choice of president. At the same time, you select your choice of senator(s)? and congress people? But then in two years, you have mid-terms. At this time, are you voting for the same senators and congress people? Or are they voted for every four years, but different people, so it’s split every two years? That’s the part I’m not clear on. Any takers?

I shared every book with my mom..she liked to read even more than me. So I bought the books for her too and others she was interested in. I had a time keeping her in books. My mom was only 16 when she quit school.
