I once asked a male colleague who was homosexual why he was pro-killing babies. I mentioned to him that it made no sense to me why he, a sensitive and gentle person, and his equally kind and sensitive partner would support this, especially in light of the cruel teasing they had experienced growing up. Why would they want harm to come to the innocent and defenseless babies? They thought it over for about a few days, and then came and told me I was right, for them to support abortion was utterly inconsistent with what they believed and the kind of people they wanted to be. They also told me they had been talking about this with their friends who were homosexuals, and some of them also decided they were pro life and not pro death. So, I think, at least where the homosexual community is concerned if you just take some time to talk to them, some of them will reconsider their support of abortion (except for this nasty man I guess.)
Nice work getting through to their rational side. As someone just pointed out, to them it’s probably more out of spite for Christianity and our “offensive moral values” than actual abortion. If they can manage to separate the two issues, they’ll probably see that they have no dog in the fight when in comes to abortion.
