Gowdy was never a pro Trump man, went from candidate to candidate, both in Florida, ( Yeb! and liddle Marco) and yet contrary to the NeverTrump gang, Trey exhibited the dignity of silence regarding POTUS.
However personally unimpressed with President Trump he may have been, or maybe still is, he nails the enemies of the POTUS and shreds their tactics to slander and remove him. Gowdy fights with law and facts Brilliantly and lambasts the abuse of both, which are being leveled at POTUS.
His mockery of Shif for Brains comes from personal experience and is pure
Gold. Trey is so admired as a straight arrow that when he dresses down Shif for Brains, that mockery is believed and banked.
When he started criticizing POTUS, CNN/MSNBC gave him a good bit of air time. That’s when my opinion of him formed. His support of Deep State Bush and Rubio speaks for itself.
That said, I will appreciate any and all service he may render to POTUS and the Republic. Your assessment and respect for him are duly noted : )
