Blood pressure and cholesterol are two separate issues. A person could have hypotension (low blood pressure) and still have high cholesterol.

Again, a person with high cholesterol might have a low cholesterol diet but suffer from familial hypercholesterolemia.

But with a diet like yours, you should be monitoring your cholesterol levels. If those are still within normal ranges, that's good.

My cholesterol level improved as well after nixing the raisin bran for breakfast. All of my blood work results have improved in the last couple of years, but lunch and dinner includes more vegetables, fruits, nuts and fish.
