It was my understanding that the Chan was down due to erroneous claims of the shooters putting up their manifestos there. How and why would Q have anything to do with that?

I am NOT suggesting Q had anything to do with the manifestos or the shootings.
I AM suggesting Q may have been ready to use the next attack and obvious targeting of 8ch as a pretext for going off the air awhile. I guess this would have required the cooperation of the 8ch people; but, after all, Q had come to outweigh all the rest of the 8ch boards, so this seems plausible.
