Hard to say if that’s spin or not. Lately the MSM is stating and restating flat out lies. One MSM quoted another (NYTIMES) stating that the NRA was against the president or something like that but if you followed the embedded links it lead to the head of the NRA emphatically stating that this was NOT true. So the MSM lied and linked to the NRA quote with a title that supported the lie but when you click on the link - it’s the NRA denial.
So it’s possible Haspel “should” have approved it but they just faked it; as long as a percentage of people heard the claim that she DID aprrove it, and never catch the counter information, the MSM considers it a job well done.
Recently, No_doll_i had posted something about the change in whistle blower form that seemed to indicate digital back dating on the server. The form was said to be uploaded weeks ago but the updated file was digitally dated after that. Leave it to the DS to make it hard to figure out who is really doing what - fog of (information) wars! :/

My bet is the administration has got legal actions of many kinds all ready to roll. They want the public fully educated first. Timing. Public getting steaming angry and demanding action is good, happening more and more with each day.
To be fair, that's only because there weren't more Japs there.
