I have a couple of morbidly obese acquaintances and I've tried to diplomaticly explain to them that they need a dramatic change in their lives. They are at the doctor every week with complex problems involving joints, pain, shortness of breath, diabetes, you name it. Of course they are on medicaid and "disability".
They suck up more health care dollars in a week than I use up in five years. Their lives revolve eating, sleeping, TV lounging, and doctors visits. The funny thing is they are between 11 and 25 years younger than me, and they are on their last legs.
I don't make any distinction between drunkenness, drug addiction, and morbid obesity. They are all self destructive compulsions.
That pizza has to be photoshopped. The size of it is unreal
All the fatty pictures on here, I can only think they must have more going on physically than just overeating. Competitive eaters are usually slim. Is why I believe metabolic diseases has to be the culprit.
Competitive eaters usually don’t eat that much in between competitions and they exercise.
I have personally known several very slim people who eat a lot of everything all the time. Amazing.
Sure you can say people like that have great metabolisms. But that is my point.
I Am not absolving personal responsibility. But metabolism is a huge factor.
They may be slim, but my guess it will take a toll over time on the inside.
I love Albertson’s fried chicken. I often brought home a couple of 50 piece boxes when I was in Port Angeles.
