What I’ve been unable to find out is who is radicalizing these kids. I’ve heard rumors about a low-key imam or for lack of a better word organizer who’s doing this.
The problem is that there’s a wall of silence when the feds investigate anything. Hell, there’s a wall of silence when the Minneapolis Police investigate street crime in that area. No one has seen anything and no one has heard anything.
And though it gets little coverage here in the twin Cities, Somali crime is getting worse - gangs, robberies, etc. And that crime is slowly trickling out into some suburbs of the Twin Cities where there a lot of Somalis - places like Eden Prairie and Shakopee.
