WRONG!!! It WAS a coup d'état, but a failed one. It was a coup nevertheless.
I just watched the Netflix miniseries "The Spy" about Mossad spy Eli Cohen in Syria who had become the Defense Minister of Syria. After he was found out and executed, the Syrians arrested 500 people who had been associated with Cohen. I haven't been able to find out how many were let go, jailed, or executed. But the Syrians sure didn't fool around! If only we were more serious about putting the coup d'etat perpetrators on jail and punishing them.
I agree. It was a failed attempt to overthrow a legally elected USA president. With a lesser man than Donald Trump, the traitors would now be in control of this Republic. Justice requires retribution and as the saying goes, justice delayed is justice denied. These traitors would have given no mercy to those who stood in their way and the same judgment should now be applied to each and everyone of the participants in this attempt to deny the USA citizens the choice they voted for to be the COC of this Republic.
