there were several “celebs” that were freepin back in the day.
I think some such as drudge & lucianne had some money thrown at them by DS/DNC/Clintonista/Soros & saw they could commercialize their own board with a more liberal slant.

I attended the rally on the mall FReeper event during the bj administration. Saturday evening Lucianne and her son hosted a mini-conference in the auditorium of a DC museum for the out of town FReepers attended the event. There were 150-200 folks there. Don't remember the name of the museum.
Looking back, I wonder how many from Derpville attended that session and took notes.
