According to what I remembered at the time, and now confirming, Sue Gordon resigned when Coates was fired. There doesn’t appear to have been any time when she was replacing Coates. She says she will resign on Thursday, which would be Aug. 15, Coates’ last day. Sundance is a doom and gloomer in many respects, and he is wrong that she stayed after Coates’ departure.
