The following thread speaks to some of my thinking about JohnHereToHelp's story of horrific abuse....let's call it what it sounds like....torture. JHTH described abuse that's hard to imagine happening in a prison setting at the hands of FBI, and he said he "toned it down" somewhat for public consumption.

I thought that the warden and/or the guard(s) could have been intimidated by the FBI goons since they've witnessed what those guys can do (e.g., beatings, frame people and send them to jail) and/or they were compromised hansomely with a style of living to which the've become accustomed.

So warden/guards might go along with FBI to avoid ending up in prison or to keep the money flowing. The FBI would probably not be so bold with JHTH if they didn't have some support/compliance from prison staff.

But at some point, the warden/guards would be afraid of going to jail for permitting killing/maiming of the prisoner and they repeatedly halted the beatings, let him be checked out of the prison, and ultimately transferred him out.

Today's post below describes the scenario I think the prison staff was trying to avoid when they halted FBI "interrogations".
