Recently Schiff wrote an alarmist letter stating that a whistleblower report was withheld from his committee by the DNI (e.g., 'be afraid! be VERY afraid'!). He sent a followup demand for DNI to release the whistleblower letter on September 10 (I question the timing!). Still nothing.

So of course the leaks must begin, right? Because whatever the Dems "need" people to believe can always be relayed to the MSM via "anonymous sources" "sources close to the issue" "former officials" on demand, as needed. No shortage of anonymous sources evah! You think there would be greater hesitation to leak with the DOJ and Trump administration cracking down and with "leaking James Comey" in the news, but no.

So here's the story they are trying to push into the public's awareness "by any means possible."

Title: Trump’s communications with foreign leader are part of whistleblower complaint that spurred standoff between spy chief and Congress, former officials say

Excerpt:
"The whistleblower complaint that has triggered a tense showdown between the U.S. intelligence community and Congress involves President Trump’s communications with a foreign leader, according to two former U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

Trump’s interaction with the foreign leader included a “promise” that was regarded as so troubling that it prompted an official in the U.S. intelligence community to file a formal whistleblower complaint with the inspector general for the intelligence community, said the officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

It was not immediately clear which foreign leader Trump was speaking with or what he pledged to deliver, but his direct involvement in the matter has not been previously disclosed. It raises new questions about the president’s handling of sensitive information and may further strain his relationship with U.S. spy agencies. One former official said the communication was a phone call.

So leaks are now excused with "....speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly." Ironically, they are saying this leak indicates POTUS can't be trusted with the handling of sensitive information!

Maybe it's Justin Trudeau - a photo from 2001 is said to have surfaced showing him cavorting in "brown face". If the whistleblower says POTUS called Trudeau, it mean POTUS is raccccccissssssst!!!!

"Rogers, his consulting firm and a PAC he operated called the Conservative StrikeForce were sued in 2014 by Ken Cuccinelli, a Republican candidate for governor in Virginia who now serves as acting director of citizenship and immigration services in the Trump administration. Cuccinelli’s suit alleged that Rogers raised more than $2 million by claiming he was assisting the Republican’s campaign but spent almost nothing to support it. In 2017, the FBI raided Rogers’ Annapolis, Maryland, office. The criminal charges against Rogers stemmed from his involvement in the 2013 Virginia elections."
