Subject: Out if town pool report #15: Arrival at RON and lid

Motorcade arrived at the RON at 8:35 and we have a travel/photo lid at 8:40.

Traffic had not been blocked off for the motorcade to merge onto the 405 on the way back, causing an extremely brief slowdown before the freeway was cleared ahead of us. The ride was otherwise uneventful, though it featured nice views of the convention center, the Staples Center and the skyline.

You can NOT see the Convention Center, Staples Center or any skyline from the 405. The 405 goes through West LA & those buildings & skyline are downtown. Impossible.
