Motorcade arrived at the landing zone at 10:11 and was loaded into an osprey for the trip to Los Angeles International Airport.
There were dozens of people on the sidewalks near the hotel looking on as we departed, including a few who gave the middle finger to the motorcade as it drove by. The route took us through Chinatown, where several more observers gathered to snap photos and video.
POTUS waved and boarded Marine One at 10:14, and we are about to lift off at 10:15.

The press osprey touched down at LAX at 10:24.
The president came to talk to press with his newly named national security adviser, Robert Obrien. Partial quotes below, please watch for playback as Air Force One is about to take off.
