The British Broadcasting Company (BBC) has caused outrage amongst parents after telling primary school children there are over a hundred genders as part of its “Teach” video series.In response to a child's question, the headteacher says there are "many" genders.“You know, there are so many gender identities,” the headteacher declared.

Haven’t seen a definition of gender that differs from sex, just adamant assurance there is.
I MIGHT be convinced to go with three instead of two, because there are a few folks who are biologically both. Other than that I agree is is varying degrees of mental illness.
Can you imagine a conversation on this subject with young children?

The irony is that it’s “WESTERN” world that is majorly screwed up, and its GREATNESS is exactly why it is. It’s come full circle - let’s carry that Christian (which we now revile and mock so much) niceness to extremes rolling over for every deviancy and delusion and indeed, evil (unless, of course, it is “Christian” evil).

In other words, the term “gender”, when applied to people, has become meaningless.
Quick, guess the sex of a cow, or a bull, or a ram, or a ewe, or a lioness. What criteria did you use? Did they have anything to do with how they “self-identify”? Or did they have to do with their inborn equipment designed for reproduction?
People can be so narrow-minded these days.
No, everyone is either an X or Y. Hermaphrodites are the only poor people who SHOW one characteristic set but actually have the opposite chromosome.
This won’t end well for western civilization.
Do these asshats know the freakin difference between sexuality and gender or is that too big of a brain bomb? If you are a man who gets off wearing a dress it doesn’t freakin mean your gender is female or trifemale or whatever they call it. Unless someone is a true hermaphrodite, there is only TWO genders!!
Teaching the three R’s is so 20th century.
Besides, they can’t find enough teachers capable of teaching actual reality-based subject matter.
Navel-gazing and political activism, plenty of experts available to teach those subjects.
