I keep wondering about this. Is this all just for show and distraction in order to preserve the real nominee, and the leader of this pack gets to be VP?

Maybe I'm completely wrong, but this whole Dem thing doesn't seem genuine. It's as if they are floating this wide array of candidates, all espousing various degrees of the same thing, in order to pinpoint what sex, what color, and what platform the nominee needs to be and support.
