This doesn’t sound like it would affect military or law enforcement since they don’t “own” or “purchase” the guns they carry.

Some departments make their personnel buy their own weapons, for one.
Also, there would have to be an exemption for police departments. Why does a 21yr old cop or deputy get more rights than a 24yr old member of the military that is in a Ranger Battalion, PJ, Combat Controller, TACP?
