Fortunately for them, they do not have any money so they are not on the SJW radar.

Mongols, shmogols. To this day, no empire has ever achieved the level of dominance and submission as Rome. Approx 1/4-1/3 of the total population under control - around 100m at peak expansion - were slaves.

But ultimately, these kinds of comparisons and analyses of which was "worse" are entirely fruitless. As wastoute observes, the core motivation for all life forms is 'life' itself: to live, survive and procreate. Since abundance is an extremely rare event, and happens only temporarily when it does occur, this establishes the basic rule that life is measured by competition over scarce resources.

Diversity isn't strength; it's weakness. The strong always defeat the weak, and take their land, food, women and children as concubines and/or slaves. The founders well understood this dynamic and attempted to construct a system by which it could possibly be managed. LOL

The take away lesson is not to be upset about enemies, but to understand what motivates them: greed, envy, jealously, deep seated resentment, poor self image, etc. At the end of the day, true enlightenment isn't being whipped around by emotional engagement, but rather measured and calculated odds and expectations.
