She’s not necessarily wrong. It doesn’t do a black person any favours to be attending a school that he isn’t scholastically qualified to attend. He’ll make a couple hundred thousand in endorsements for his athleticism and then be bereft of becoming anything.
A person should be attending a school they are fit to attend. If it takes a year longer to be qualified for further academic achievement, that’s fine.
An historically black college president got in hot water a couple of years ago for saying that kids and the black community college suffered when they went to Ivy Leagues they weren’t qualified for. That if they attended historically black colleges, they’d be physicists and medical professionals, not social justice warriors.
