Being a young person, is it fairly reasonable to assume he did not press charges for fear of upsetting those ‘friends’ that helped themselves to his account?

Did he at least drop those ‘friends’ like hot potatoes?

The credit card was my husband’s. Charges were for uber and food. Most were rejected. Account closed. Once they are 18, you can’t make them do anything. But he learned what we told him all along these people are not your friends. And the ones that looked like us ended up being worst of the bunch.
