You make reasonable points. I disagree on your conclusion.

Donald Trump is a supreme pragmatist, and a capitalist. He is not an idealist or a politician by nature or background.

He is virtually alone. I am convinced that he has made one deal after another with the Swamp in order to have enough freedom to pursue what concerns him most: his economic agenda.

I will be astounded if any pervasive attempt to restore justice to the District of Corruption is attempted - and exposing these private-sector people would lead right back to the Shush Fund crowd that inhabit the Halls of Congress.

I agree he is the ultimate pragmatist filled with common sense and under no fantasy that he will solve all ills and all problems.

What I was saying is that if Epstein is captured alive (again), Donald Trump will not stand in the way of letting the public know of that development.

Because I tend to think we will never know and so it doesn’t matter.

But then I catch myself and ask “what if Epstein was found alive?” I don’t think Trump will order any cover up on that.
