I'm going to see "The Who" in less than a week.
I kinda prefer the tribute bands though. Cheaper to see and they can actually still hit the notes that the originals have gotten too old to hit.
It's been a good while since I saw Daltrey, but I think he fits into that category. Joe Elliott (Def Leppard) was a bit painful to watch too.
On the other hand, I've seen Journey a couple times with that new kid (Pineda) and, while there is only one Steve Perry, he can really belt it out.
Lots of tribute bands play it the way you REMEMBER hearing it. While with the originals, you kind of feel that you are all growing old together.

I kinda prefer the tribute bands though.I want to see Leonid and Friends, they do the early Chicago stuff much better than the "real" Chicago does these days.

I’m a huge Pink Floyd fan. Go to youtube and check out the videos of “Britt Floyd”. They are arguably BETTER than Pink floyd - LED lighting and computer control are key. Their show very much emulates the Pulse concerts. Their Red Rock one is fantastic.
They played here in Louisville a year or so ago, but I missed them.
