He was with his wife and young son. For a minute, I almost thought it was fake.

It looked like this picture, except for the long skinny barrel.

Anyway, he had the gun and an extra clip on one hip and a knife on the other.

I thought. DAMN, if trouble breaks out, I'm going his way...because he's prepared.

I can't find a picture of the exact gun on the internet though. I swear, the barrel was very skinny and maybe 8 inches long.

I suppose it would be easy to make the barrel longer tho I have never seen one.

That's not gold. It's probably titanium nitride. Desert Eagles were/are available in a variety of finishes. The rose color ones are cool looking too, but I'm not sure what the material is.

What state are you in? Open carry and carry in Wally World.
BTW, I’m not into flashy guns, but it is pretty.

I believe thse were originally designed in Israel; infact, I think Ariel Sharon carried one as his personal sidearm when he was top brass in the IDF.

When the Desert Eagles first hit the market (in .357 and .44 Magnum), IMI made extended barrels in 8, 10, and 12 inches. I don’t think they ever made one for the .50 AE.

the original desert eagles came with the option of 8 and 10 inch hunting barrels, but that was way back when. don’t know if they still offer the longer barrels.

Full-sized Deagle always seemed like a novelty to me. But the S&W .460 XVRs with the longer barrels seem useful to me. XVR’s in .500 and .460 are hunting guns, but the Deagle is a ... what? (I know, Isreali IDF sidearm, yada yada.)
