He was with his wife and young son. For a minute, I almost thought it was fake.

It looked like this picture, except for the long skinny barrel.

Anyway, he had the gun and an extra clip on one hip and a knife on the other.

I thought. DAMN, if trouble breaks out, I'm going his way...because he's prepared.

I can't find a picture of the exact gun on the internet though. I swear, the barrel was very skinny and maybe 8 inches long.

Looks like Avi’s pistol from “Snowfall”

Similar, but the barrel was much longer.

I swear, at first I couldn’t decide if it was real or if he had been playing cops and robbers with his young son.

I suppose it would be easy to make the barrel longer tho I have never seen one.

That first picture looks just like the gun, except it was all gold.

Yep, that’s what he had on his hip.

That's not gold. It's probably titanium nitride. Desert Eagles were/are available in a variety of finishes. The rose color ones are cool looking too, but I'm not sure what the material is.

Interesting.

I’m still going to call it gold. That’s what it looked like, except for the black part of the grip.

Honestly, I’m surprised someone in WM didn’t freak out over the gun.

It was a little intimidating. Okay. Is that thing real or not? Is it real or not? Hell, I’m just going to ask.

What state are you in? Open carry and carry in Wally World.
BTW, I’m not into flashy guns, but it is pretty.

Every post in this thread needs therapy.

Where do I begin? A person who knows firearms, is trained and knowledgeable doesn’t carry a gold DE on his hip. Unless he’s also a touch crazy.

Finding leather for this monstrosity isn’t easy.

There is no DE with a longer AND thinner barrel. The extension lugs are the same dimension as the muzzle (which isn’t part of the slide or action)

A proper soldier wouldn’t carry one of these unless he’s clearing out caves in Afghanistan or waiting for a moose/boar/ near to come out.

Using this pistol in defense from another human is very difficult to defend in court.

This whole thread looks like it was copy and pasted from quora.

It could never be just a cylinder looking out from in front of a Desert Eagle.

The entire barrel can be extended and vented, which isn’t common, but it retains the shape of the muzzle because the action is completely behind the feed ramp.
