Lightning is the original “spark gap” and it produces static on AM radio.
no don’t run them over- collect them and sell them to the public for more jet fuel lol
airport security should put out a statement that ANYONE caught trying to murder innocent civilians by flying a drone into an airplane will be shot on sight as a domestic terrorist-
Maybe they can shut down flights for IPCC junkets.
They don’t need shot guns. The airport will just scramble their signals and crash the drones. I’ve had it done to me. Never goes well for the drone. Technically I was out side of the area as required, the airport didn’t believe that to be true. They do give you warning, not much of one.
Over a thousand child (sic) are dying as a result of climate change and ecological collapse - already, every single day.”
What about all of the abortions killing innocent babies every day???? Not to mention the number of innocent people who might be killed if a jet crashes due to these drones!!
Part and parcel.
We all know endangering the lives of others is always a good approach, right *-?
Net Zero? Like their collective IQ.
Damaging an engine on short final is not likely to be a major problem. The aircraft is slow, probably already at idle power, and about to touchdown anyway. A small drone you can buy at Walmart or somewhere is likely to be too small to cause a catastrophic failure. Modern engines are designed to survive small birds. Even America West 1549 didn’t crash immediately with both engines out. If Sully had been on final rather than climbing, theymost likely would have landed and then been towed off the runway. It’s losing and engine on a heavyweight takeoff, such as a flight headed to LA or Hong Kong from London that could be in more danger.
“A drone sucked into a jet engine just about to touch down might be just enough to cause the engine to fail and cause a imbalance of power briefly enough to cause a real problem.....
All it would take is one jet cartwheeling down the runway for this to be a real tragedy....”
Thanks Libloather.
Just food for thought...
