Hmm, the link goes to an article from Sept. 2018 about a book by Woodward in which he quotes Mattis. Or supposedly does. Mattis said the book is fiction.

Mattis is a big talker but I don’t think he’s the least bit conservative, I think he’s a big government globalist liberal who should follow the Great General’s advice to old soldiers and just fade away.
