I mentioned a couple festivals back there were USTs there, you could see the vent pipes and the fill port in the close up drone aerial... Thanks for the reminder. So there could well be diesel gensets. Are they primary of backup?

Probably primary early on and then I thought Id heard that the place had a cable run to it. It seems to me that a great source of Derponium ore (Derponium cripples Derps...🤪) would be the disposal manifesting for materials coming off the island. I.e. if someone said it was hardly used, but there was a paper trail that indicated disposal of X gallons of used oil every few weeks, youd know the general generator size and operating conditions based on the change interval etc... If they disposed of it illicitly youd probably see sign of it unless done very thoroughly. Which brings another idea to mind, that the algal bloom shots are possibly actually oily wastes which are emulsified prior to discharge to facilitate their biodegradation. That would correlate to the staining on the outcrop at the high water mark also...
