I know what political prosecutions are, and of course, I agree 100% with you.
What I was expressing was that I found it disconcerting that Barr said what he did because it left it wide open as to what he considers political prosecutions. I am hoping that in his judgement, that doesn’t include those who committed the real crimes.

I have never understood why it is “greed” to want to keep the money you have earned but not greed to want to take somebody else’s money.
Some wonder why we feel that way, well this morning before going to Mass I decided I would scan the news briefly and see what ‘terrible things Trump is doing’ and this is what I found from the Nazi News:
We went through all of this and worse when Our President was running against The Butcher of Benghazi and now we are seeing the mentally ill people of the Nazi News starting again, and it will only get worse...
But those millions of us that are ‘the silent ones’ know that Our President will win again in 2020...so the next time you hear or see someone talking down Our President let them have it with both barrels...

Then there’s the national debt and Trump’s assertions via Q (IIRC) that confiscation of the assets of all the evildoers’ assets would pay off the national debt plus fund most of the needed infrastructure plus lower taxes yet again.

IMO there are many people who have been drawn into various fringe groups but do not yet recognize the danger of the group. If the group looks dangerous from the outside instead of helpful, they wouldn’t be able to draw people in.
