I set it to 76 (80 at night), my wife threatens to kill me - either by actually lowering it to 65, or by other means.
I work outside all summer (on laptop computer). It’s 90 right now, so 76 will be nice when I go back in.
After months of her discontent, I finally set it to 74.
We’ll resume the struggle when she finds out the heater is set to 70 (68 at night).
Growing up, bedroom got down around 56. She’ll respond by setting it to 78.

I am convinced that many of those of the female persuasion do not understand the thermostat.
In the summer she has it so low that she sleeps under blankets.
