I just subscribed to the NY Times to read that article from Jan 12, 2017. There is a link in it to the unclassified NSA SIGINT that Q pointed us to in July 2019. Black hats declassified a document that was all about spying on Trump for FISA back in Jan 2017. Maybe that’s why Q keeps saying their stupid.

That's where I was leaning, they needed it declassified so they could justify spying on Trump but it was risky because it had things in there that could backfire on them. It's possibly another "Red October" reference from the Q team.

I would agree. They declassified the newly created NSA SIGINT and ran it to the NY Times right away to lock down what they were doing in the "public" eye. It's going to back fire big time.
