Students is no longer the accepted terminology for kids. My school district insisted on calling them scholars. Drove me crazy! Retired now, not worrying about that anymore!

when our dog died and we got a puppy from this shelter, they called him a border collie blend. so mixes and mutts are soon to be out and replaced with “blends”. i seriously looked at the lady and said..”oh puppy is like a dark roast!” she just looked at me hahahahaha.
