Exclusive: Feds Demand Apple And Google Hand Over Names Of 10,000+ Users Of A Gun Scope App

The court should turn down this request.

The Feds aren't legally allowed to keep records of who had an NCIC background check to purchase a firearm, so in theory they do not have records of who owns a firearm.

(although I wouldn't bet a red cent that they faithfully comply with the law - after all it's the same government that tried to mount a coup against President Trump)

I see this as more government subterfuge to circumvent a legal restriction on their behavior.

It amounts to a work-around back door approach to obtaining some gun ownership records.

It's a safe bet that most people downloading this app own the scope and if you own the scope you no doubt own a rifle to mount it on.

.

Its not Guns, this is mobile app for Virtual target.
Meant to enhance the user’s experience with rifle scopes like ATN’s X-Sight 4K or ThOR 4 products.

Terrorist are using it.

Just watched Martha McCallum ask Johnny Jones why it would be so terrible if the government knew you had guns.

I know she is blonde but is she that naive or stupid.

He explained it very well to her.
