I think it was actually a blessing in disguise Jane. Our second addition that was done right before we bought the house didn't build the rafters evenly. That is why our new roof was wavy. Then they said around our skylights the wood was getting wet so they are putting special material for ice and water/then another coat sealer material and flashing around the skylight while putting on a new porch roof. Our brother-in-law is thrilled to get the new sheet metal that was on our porch. He'll have it for his body shop roof. Sorry to go on and on.
