I had to go tell my hubby this. On our trip out to Vegas a couple years back we took in a Cardinals game. Best fans and beautiful park. We are by no stretch Cardinal fans. That day they gave out fleece hoodies. My son looked at me and said..they're very nice but how in the world can a Cubs fan wear a Cardinals hoodie? I keep meaning to get his hoodie...and at least pass it on..lol

I may have related this story before.
I’m a Cubs fan.
Back in the late 80’s I went to cub\cardinal game in St. Louis @ the old concrete jungle Busch memorial..
Upper-deck, down the left field line, only blue hat in a sea of red.

I stand up, turn around and in a foghorn voice yell “What the hell are all you Cardinal fans doing at a Cubs game ?”

Between the constant shower of peanuts and with the gorillas in front of us standing, we never did get to see the ball game

We went to many Cardinals games at Busch Stadium when I was a kid. I always heard STL was a tough city, but of course a lot tougher now. We never ventured outside of the stadium, except once to The Arch. The stadium is right off the highway. Being from a small town, my father hated driving in a city.

As a matter of fact, he was a Cub fan, and my mother, sister & I were Cardinal fans. He would rather go to Busch Stadium for a Card/Cubs game than drive in the city to Wrigley Field.
