Mom did pretty well with houseplants, during the 70s craze.

Maybe that’s where I got the “bug” to give them a try. :-)

Back in the 50’s, until we moved to another state and mom gave them all away, we had beautiful BIG house plants.

In the living room was an African Violet tree that I loved.

After moving we never had plants so maybe that’s why I always have had them, a love and comfort from childhood.

You have got me thinking now, Jane.

Never stopped to consider before.

I have to have a house sitter just to water the plants if we are going to be gone longer than a few days.
