Stephanie Grisham confirms that the US Ambassador to France, Jamie McCourt, was seated beside POTUS in the Johnson breakfast bilat earlier. Apologies for missing her in the first pool note. Dan Scavino was also seated at the end of the table.
Subject: Out of town pool report #4 — G7 plenary session spray
The smaller pool (print + still photo) was brought into the plenary meeting room at 9:47.
Very difficult to hear and not much was said as photographers scrambled around clicking away.
Boris Johnson was speaking when pool entered but it was unintelligible. The leaders mostly sat quietly and posed for photos. At one point, Trump and Macron, seated beside each other, turned behind them and stared into a couple cameras.
